Oral Hygiene

Oral Hygiene is a primary focus at Siva Cherukuri DDS, because it is extremely important for children to establish good dental care habits at an early age.

ADA recommends that every child should get a dental exam and cleaning done every six months. At our office, every child gets a new tooth brush on the dental cleaning visit so the brushing is effective as tooth brushes are generally not effective after 6 months. During this visit, we also train the children in bushing and flossing techniques which is a critical skill that lasts lifelong.
